As a native of upstate NY, Amy spent her childhood running around in the woods obsessed with wildlife and nature and dreaming of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating from Northeastern University in Boston with a available's degree in Biology, she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and finished her clinical year at Cornell University. She obtained her DVM in 2006 and spent a year in an emergency-focused rotating internship at the New England Animal Medical Center in West Bridgewater, MA. She remained in the emergency department, working with a variety of specialists, and continuing to develop her passion and expertise in emergency medicine. For the first eight years of Amy's career, she was straight involved in the training of new veterinary graduates in emergency medicine. She has always had a passion for teaching and feels that it is one of the greatest ways to increase personal development and help the community.
Several years ago Amy left the Boston area and migrated north with dreams of buying land and starting a farm sanctuary. She worked in emergency hospitals and general practices effectually New Hampshire and Maine until finally laying down roots near Portland, ME. She enjoys the mix of urban perks and the rural feel of the area. She shares her home with a menagerie of chickens, goats, peafowl, rabbits, cats, and her dog Sabrina. All of Amy's pets have been rescued and she still dreams of starting her farm sanctuary one solar day! Andrea was born in Hawaii and grew up in Southern Oregon. Equally an adult, she has lived in nearly every climate, spending fourth dimension in Arizona and Alaska. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Biological science with minors in Chemistry and Psychology, Andrea decided to work directly with patients as a nurse in the veterinarian field.
Andrea is the proud pet-parents to ii rescue pups- Fiona, a Staffordshire Terrier who was used as a breeder until Andrea rescued her, and Ravyn the lab/pit mix who gives the best hugs in the world. She also has a equus caballus named Rosie, who she has had since existence a teen, and now traveled across the country to retire in New England. When she isn't at work, Andrea loves hiking and going on adventures with her creature companions.
Emma grew upwards in Southward Portland and has returned after spending a couple of years in North Carolina, where she graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
